Parents/Aunt Louise visit!

My parents and aunt flew in at the end of Feb and stayed for 10 days.

The first weekend Brent was still here so the 5 of us took a train and went to Brugge, Belgium.

Brent flew home and my parents/aunt explored Amsterdam all week. They did a few organized day trips and got to see quite a bit. On Thursday night my mom and aunt Flew to Rome for the weekend. I worked Friday but afterwards my dad and I went to a local Brewery in a windmill. 

On Saturday we took a train to Cologne, Germany. My dad has always wanted to go to Germany. Still wish we could have gone to the Bavaria area where I studied but we had a great trip. Was very nice to spend quality father/daughter time. Will always cherish this trip and the memories we made.

Brent - week long trip!!

Brent came for a little over 3 weeks!!!! Was so nice to have him here! I took a week of vacation and we went on such an awesome trip. Flew to Budapest on Friday, Feb 13th for 3 days. We loved Budapest and had so much fun exploring the city. One day we tracked how far we walked and it was OVER 30 miles!! 

On Monday morning we left Budapest took a train to Vienna. Liked the city but it was pretty cold/windy. We saw a lot of the city Monday and Tuesday and then went to the zoo on Wed. It was a huge zoo with a lot of animals that we have not seen in person before (koala, pandas)!

Wednesday we took an overnight train to Rome. Did not get a lot of sleep but it was nice to arrive and still have a full day. We stayed in Rome until Sunday night when we flew back to a Amsterdam. Also loved this city. So much to see and do!!! VERY THANKFUL for such an awesome trip. Enjoyed all the time with Brent and getting to travel to such neat places.
